Energetic newcomer Simone Biles (USA) floored the competition to win her first World All-around title over teammate Kyla Ross (USA), winner of the Longines Prize for Elegance. After a raw showing in qualifications, 2012 Olympic All-around bronze medalist Aliya Mustafina (RUS) showed her mettle to defend her third-place standing.
